Baseball Recap: Lincoln North Star Takes a Loss

Lincoln North Star was the 7-4 winner over Omaha Central when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Navigators fell 9-4 to the Eagles on Monday. The Navigators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Preston Graff and Easton Wesslund did some serious damage despite the final result: Graff went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double, while Wesslund went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Steiger, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Lincoln North Star's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Omaha Central, they moved to 8-11 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Lincoln North Star has already played their next game, a 5-1 loss against Lincoln East on the 25th. As for Omaha Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Omaha Northwest on the 22nd.
