Ardrey Kell posted their closest victory since August 14th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Hough Huskies. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ardrey Kell was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 24-26, 25-18, 16-14.

Moorea Atkins paced Ardrey Kell's offense, picking up 26 kills. Atkins got some help from Sabrina Fumero and her 42 assists. Atkins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Ardrey Kell back to even at 5-5. As for Hough, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coming up, Ardrey Kell will be playing at home against Palisades at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Hough, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Mooresville on the 27th.
