Preview: Stockbridge Tigers vs. Spalding Jaguars
Stockbridge has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Spalding Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Stockbridge is ranked 37th, while Spalding is ranked 24th).
With a playoff game on the line, Stockbridge rose to the challenge on Friday. They managed a 28-24 win over Westminster.
Meanwhile, Spalding put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Troup County 20-0. Considering Spalding has won seven contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Robert Henderson got back to being his usual excellent self, as he picked up 168 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another big playmaker for Spalding was Ronald Moore jr., who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Stockbridge has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 10-2 record. As for Spalding, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
