It was a Battle of the Birds when Aberdeen duked it out with North Harford on Friday. The Eagles really took it to the Hawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-6 win. With the Eagles ahead 42-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Leading Aberdeen to victory were Collin Rogers and Cameron Durbin. Rogers rushed for 96 yards and two TDs, while Durbin gained 248 total yards and three touchdowns. Rogers really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Aberdeen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 158 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Aberdeen, adding 12 points to the final score. All those points came courtesy of Landon Rivera: he added 12 points with four field goals.

Aberdeen now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Harford, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
