Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garfield). Their defense stepped up to hand the Bell Eagles a 6-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Garfield's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Bell, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-2 record this season.

Garfield will head out to face off against Roosevelt at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bell, they will face off against Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
