Baseball Recap: Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Comes Up Short

Badger/Greenbush-Middle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the East Grand Forks Green Wave, falling 14-2.

Badger/Greenbush-Middle River saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Gust, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Deegan Hanson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Badger/Greenbush-Middle River's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for East Grand Forks, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Looking ahead, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River will be playing at home against Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Grand Forks, they will host Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
