Softball Recap: Celeste Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Celeste can now relate to. They lost 7-0 to the Muenster Hornets on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Blue Devils haven't been shut out since back in February.

Celeste saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jada Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Celeste and nudges their season record down to 21-10. As for Muenster, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 22-7-1.

Celeste does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Muenster, they will challenge Crawford on Saturday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
