Basketball Game Preview: Trimble Tech Bulldogs vs. Jefferson Patriots

The Trimble Tech Bulldogs will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Jefferson Patriots at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Trimble Tech is looking for their season's first victory.

Trimble Tech is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against South Hills last Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Trimble Tech was beaten by South Hills 71-36. The Bulldogs were down 47-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-40, which was the final score in Jefferson's tilt against White two weeks ago. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1371st, while the Longhorns are ranked 160th).

Jefferson dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Trimble Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.
