Basketball Recap: Langley Has No Trouble Against Mclean

Langley's match on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the McLean Highlanders with a sharp 62-40 win. That's more bragging rights for the Saxons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, McLean still got an impressive performance from Max Mullen, who posted 12 points. Jake Bell was another key player, putting up eight points.

Langley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for McLean, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Langley will face off against Washington-Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McLean has already played their next game (against George C. Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
