Baseball Recap: Rosemead Comes Up Short

Rosemead and La Quinta squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Rosemead had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Aztecs by a score of 2-1.

Rosemead saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juleean Pinto, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Rosemead's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for La Quinta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Rosemead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for La Quinta, they will face off against Cate at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Rams have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
