Canterbury School is 2-8 against Salisbury School since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Saturday. The Saints will welcome the Crimson Knights  at 2:30  p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Canterbury School comes in on four and Salisbury School on three.
On Wednesday, Canterbury School beat Frederick Gunn 7-3.
 Carter Heagle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Heagle was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Jack Jensen tossed a big game,   striking out ten batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off only  two  hits.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Tyler Kisling, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Tyler Harmony, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run.
Meanwhile, Salisbury School owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Millbrook School as they made off with  an  8-0 victory. Considering the Crimson Knights have won three contests by more than seven  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Salisbury School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Michael Fiatarone, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. That's the most  hits  Fiatarone has posted since back in May of 2024.  Nasir Stevenson also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Canterbury School's win was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Salisbury School, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Salisbury School's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Canterbury School hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .380. It's a different story for Salisbury School, though, as  they've  only  averaged .251. Will they be able to contain Canterbury School's hitters?
