Basketball Recap: Toll Gate Titans vs. South Kingstown Rebels
The Toll Gate Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They suffered a tough 81-57 loss at the hands of South Kingstown. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Toll Gate in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now lost three in a row.
Toll Gate's loss came despite strong showings from Dylan Perreault and Jack Colvin. Perreault dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds, while Colvin scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perreault has scored all season.
Toll Gate dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for South Kingstown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
Toll Gate will head out on the road to challenge the Oakers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Kingstown, they will be playing at home against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
