Maranatha Christian Academy had won three straight games and Abby Nash did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Lutheran Knights with a sharp 3-0 win for which the team can thank Nash, who had eight digs and three aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 24 games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-7.

Maranatha Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Lutheran, they dropped their record down to 4-13-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Maranatha Christian Academy will take on Fort Scott at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lutheran has already played their next contest (against Kansas City Christian School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
