Basketball Recap: Scio Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

There's no place like home for Scio, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Santiam Christian Eagles by a score of 67-58 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Loggers: when they faced off against the Eagles back in January, they had to take a 51-38 loss.

Scio's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. As for Santiam Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Coming up, Scio will head out to challenge Willamina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Scio knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Willamina likes a good challenge. As for Santiam Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-52 victory against Amity on the 8th.
