Basketball Recap: Armany Sutton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fenton over Glenbard East

Fenton lost against Glenbard East back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fenton Bison lost 57-36 to the Glenbard East Rams. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fenton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Armany Sutton, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 12 points. Josiah Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Fenton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Glenbard East, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.

Fenton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-50 victory against Leyden on the 25th. As for Glenbard East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-50 win against Lindblom on the 25th.
