Basketball Recap: Saline Takes a Loss

Saline lost against Huron back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saline Hornets lost to the Huron River Rats on the road by a 59-41 margin. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the River Rats are ranked 20th).

Saline has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Huron, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Saline is taking a road trip to take on Seaholm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huron, they will face off against Tournament Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on February 26th.
