Riverside Christian Academy strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Southern Lee Cavaliers by a score of 8-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Macie Wheeler, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Zavi Sullivan was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Riverside Christian Academy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Southern Lee, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Riverside Christian Academy will challenge Scotland Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Royals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Southern Lee, they will take on Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
