Volleyball Game Preview: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Park City Miners

Tooele is 0-4 against Park City since March of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tooele is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillcrest. While the Buffaloes didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-19 in the first set.

Tooele started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Park City came up short against Cottonwood on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Cottonwood scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 20-25, 25-22.

Park City has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Tooele, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
