Recap: Pelahatchie Chiefs vs. Pisgah Dragons
In what's become a running theme this season, the Pelahatchie Chiefs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over Pisgah. The victory was familiar territory for Pelahatchie who now have five in a row.
Despite the loss, Pisgah saw an underclassman step up: Desiree Morris scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Morris scored 15 or more points.
Pelahatchie is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Pisgah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Puckett the next time they take the court. Pisgah will host Puckett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Pelahatchie will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
