Basketball Game Preview: Sandhills Valley Mavericks vs. Sandhills/Thedford Knights

The Sandhills Valley Mavericks are taking a road trip to square off against the Sandhills/Thedford Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Sandhills Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Hyannis, taking the game 36-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

Meanwhile, Sandhills/Thedford beat Maywood/Hayes Center 49-38 on Friday.

The victory got Sandhills/Thedford back to even at 6-6. As for Sandhills Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Sandhills Valley couldn't quite finish off Sandhills/Thedford in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 and fell 64-62. Can Sandhills Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
