McGregor came tearing into Monday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Clifton Cubs by a score of 7-3. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Isabella Salas, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Allyson Zoch, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

McGregor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March.

McGregor pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Clifton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7-1.

McGregor will have a chance to go back-to-back against Clifton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
