Softball Recap: Hickman County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hickman County's offense. They came up short against the McCracken County Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Hickman County's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for McCracken County, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hickman County will take on Paducah Tilghman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Tornado have averaged an impressive 10.7 runs per game this season. As for McCracken County, they will head out on the road to challenge Spanish Fort at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
