Softball Recap: Oxford Chargers vs. Southaven Chargers

Oxford's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 13-8 win over Southaven. Oxford hasn't had any issues with Southaven recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Mary-Claire King was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-5.
