Basketball Recap: Hudson Beats Coxsackie-Athens for Their Ninth Straight Win

Hudson won the last time they faced Coxsackie-Athens, and Keith Robinson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hudson Bluehawks blew past the Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks 88-57 on Saturday thanks in part to Robinson, who almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine boards. The contest was his ninth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Ryan Conte, who posted three points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 88.3 points per game. As for Coxsackie-Athens, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Hudson will head out to take on Watervliet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Watervliet is on a four-game streak of home wins, Hudson a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Coxsackie-Athens, they will welcome Cairo-Durham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
