Softball Recap: Eastern View Cyclones vs. Courtland Cougars
Eastern View won the last time they faced Courtland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cyclones walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cyclones.

Cailin Rendell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sara Hopper, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Lily Stiffler was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
