Springtown won the last time they faced Monahans and things went their way on Saturday too. The Porcupines came out on top against the Loboes by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Porcupines.

Libby Tedder paced Springtown's offense, picking up eight kills. Tedder got some help from Ryleigh Strickland and her seven assists. Strickland was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Springtown's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Monahans, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7-1.

Springtown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Glen Rose on the 23rd. As for Monahans, they will take on Perryton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
