Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin Towne). They came out on top against the Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers by a score of 78-69 on Friday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 41-33 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2015.

Leading Franklin Towne to victory were Carlo Quattrone and Nyel Waters. Quattrone posted 18 points and five boards, while Waters had 17 points and eight rebounds. Those eight boards gave Waters a new career-high. Louis Marchino was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Despite the loss, Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech still got an impressive performance from Cedrick Brown Jr, who put up 31 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. With that strong performance, Brown Jr is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Semaj Brown, who scored 11 points and eight boards.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin Towne and bumps their season record up to 7-9. As for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.
