Soccer Recap: Pace vs. Tate
Pace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tate Aggies. Pace were not able to make up for their loss to Tate from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.
Pace's goal came courtesy of Tyson Smith, which was the first he's scored this season.
Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Tate, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 6-1-1 record this season.
Pace will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Milton at 7:30 p.m. on December 3. As for Tate, they will take on Biloxi at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Biloxi's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Tate's offense will have their work cut out for them.
