Mason Pisarski had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 245 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August. Devin Hatcher also helped with two TDs in total.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bradshaw Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 240 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.
Bradshaw Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mason Billington and Carson Fitzpatrick.
Meanwhile, Rosemont suffered their biggest defeat since October 4, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against Liberty Ranch, falling 56-28. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Hawks are ranked 134th).
Bradshaw Christian will need to focus on slowing down Logan Wolhers, one of several Rosemont players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 344 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt. Gus Bailey was another key player, picking up 90 receiving yards and one score.
Bradshaw Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.2 points on average over those games. As for Rosemont, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
We should be in store for an exciting game as Bradshaw Christian and Rosemont have no problem gaining yardage. The Pride have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 364.3 total yards per game. However, it's not like Rosemont struggles in that department as they've been averaging 372.8 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Everything came up roses for Bradshaw Christian against Rosemont in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pride since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
