After flying high against North Lamar last Friday, Pleasant Grove came back down to earth. The Pleasant Grove Hawks came up short against the Paris Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 6-2. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pleasant Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Paris, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Grove will square off against Sulphur Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sulphur Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season. As for Paris, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Paris take on the Mount Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Paris also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 4.7 goals per game.
