Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Noah Royce and Coda Lemon Lead Lead Hill to Victory

Lead Hill put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 77-56 margin over the Cotter Warriors. The Tigers pushed the score to 75-40 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading Lead Hill to victory were Coda Lemon and Noah Royce. Lemon made all 8 shots he took to post 19 points and six boards, while Royce dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Those 19 points gave Lemon a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dawson Lively, who posted seven points along with 12 assists and three steals.

Lead Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Lead Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lead Hill will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Eureka Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cotter, they will take on Bergman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
