After a string of nine wins, Central Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mulvane Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Central Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Mulvane, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6-3.

Central Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Moundridge on the 4th. As for Mulvane, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Clearwater.
