Ayden - Grifton hadn't done well against Greene Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Ayden - Grifton walked away with a 10-7 win over Greene Central. The game was the first time the Chargers have beaten the Rams on their field since June 9, 2021.

Jack Ewell was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Wilson, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

Ayden - Grifton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Greene Central now has a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Ayden - Grifton will face off against North Pitt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greene Central, they will square off against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.67 runs per game on average), something Greene Central will no doubt try to take advantage of.
