Volleyball Recap: South Pasadena Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when South Pasadena duked it out with Somerset Academy Losee on Saturday. The South Pasadena Tigers came out on top against the Somerset Academy Losee Lions by a score of 2-0.

James Dowd paced South Pasadena's offense, picking up seven kills. Dowd got some help from Jack Pellerin and his ten assists. Pellerin also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Liam Johnson, racking up two apiece.

South Pasadena now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Somerset Academy Losee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

South Pasadena has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Harvard-Westlake on the 1st. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Founders Classical Academy on the 5th.
