Volleyball Recap: Henderson Collegiate Pride vs. Eno River Bobcats

Henderson Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat. They came up short against the Eno River Bobcats, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pride of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eno River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Molly Pierce, who had 12 aces. The dominant performance gave Pierce a new career-high in aces. Another player making a difference was Addyson Grieger, who had five aces.

Henderson Collegiate will be playing in front of their home fans against Cristo Rey Research Triangle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eno River, they are on the road again on Thursday to play Excelsior Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. Excelsior Classical Academy is coming into the match with three straight wins at home, so Eno River will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
