Baseball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette and Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lafayette had to settle for second. They lost 15-0 to the Bears. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Catholic beat Lafayette by a score of 10-5 later that day.
