Baseball Recap: Woodson Comes Up Short

Woodson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the South County Stallions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-4 loss on Thursday.

Woodson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for South County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Woodson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South County, they will venture away from home to challenge Fairfax at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight.
