After a string of three wins, Leuzinger's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Culver City Centaurs. The Olympians were not able to make up for their loss to the Centaurs from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

Jazmin Zamora made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tatiyana Lopez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Leuzinger's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Culver City, their record is now 3-9.

While Leuzinger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
