Softball Recap: Clyde Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clyde can now relate to. They fell 6-2 to the Ingram Moore Warriors on Thursday.

Sutton McClain was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Abby Hoffman, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Clyde has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-5 record this season. As for Ingram Moore, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8-1 record this season.

While Clyde had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
