Baseball Recap: Holdrege Dusters vs. St. Paul/Palmer Wildcats

The Holdrege Dusters came up short against the St. Paul/Palmer Wildcats on Tuesday and fell 11-8. The Dusters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lyndon Rodewald put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off seven hits. Rodewald was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Nick Weides made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Kegan Steinke was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI.

Holdrege now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Paul/Palmer, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
