Softball Recap: Richford Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Blue Mountain

Richford faced Blue Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Falcons fell just short of the Bucks by a score of 6-5. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Kayliese McCray and MiKayla Chagnon did some serious damage despite the final result: McCray went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Chagnon went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Richford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Blue Mountain, their record now sits at 8-4.
