Baseball Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southwest Christian Stars. Even if the Hubmen & Jaguars couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Southwest Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Jordan and Southwest Christian will both be playing Le Sueur-Henderson the next time they take the field. The Stars will host the Giants at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hubmen & Jaguars will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
