Baseball Game Preview: Pocono Mountain West Panthers vs. Liberty Hurricanes

Pocono Mountain West is 0-4 against Liberty since April of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Hurricanes at 4:00 p.m.

Pocono Mountain West fell victim to Parkland and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pocono Mountain West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Kliesh, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Liberty came out on top against Emmaus on Tuesday by a score of 8-6 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Pocono Mountain West, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
