Volleyball Recap: West Prairie Comes Up Short

West Prairie lost against Macomb back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cyclones fell 2-0 to the Bombers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13.

Macomb's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordyn Shoopman, who had nine digs and one assist. Those nine digs gave Shoopman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emily Westerhold, who had three digs and three aces.

West Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 19-14. As for Macomb, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.

West Prairie has already played their next contest (against Illini West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Macomb, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Elmwood on the 16th.
