Basketball Recap: Lincoln Prep Takes a Loss

Lincoln Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Arcadia Hornets 65-6. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Hornets are ranked 36th).

Lincoln Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Arcadia, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lincoln Prep Panthers take on the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Arcadia has already played their next contest (against Ringgold), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
