St. John Bosco and JSerra Catholic (ranked 18th and 77th in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile game on Tuesday. The St. John Bosco Braves took down the JSerra Catholic Lions 71-53. Winning may never get old, but the Braves sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

St. John Bosco's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elzie Harrington, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 20 points along with eight assists and six boards. Brandon McCoy Jr was another key player, going 9 for 15 en route to 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Harrington wasn't the only one working in the assists department: St. John Bosco was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

St. John Bosco pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for JSerra Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 21-7.

As of now, neither St. John Bosco nor JSerra Catholic have any future games scheduled.
