Volleyball Game Preview: Air Academy Kadets vs. Discovery Canyon Thunder

Air Academy is 1-9 against Discovery Canyon since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Kadets will challenge the Thunder at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Air Academy lost 3-0 to Lutheran on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-12.

Air Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Shelbe Lyons, who had 15 digs and three assists, and Jiselle Rodriquez, who had three digs and three aces. Lyons has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.
