Volleyball Recap: Calexico Mission Comes Up Short

Calexico Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Holtville Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-14.

Calexico Mission's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Holtville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Coincidentally, Calexico Mission and Holtville will both be playing Brawley the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the RoadRunners will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
