Softball Recap: Bend Lava Bears vs. South Medford Panthers

Bend came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 16 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the South Medford Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bend also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Addisen Fisher made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched.
