Flag Football Recap: Douglas County Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Rock Canyon + How To Watch

Douglas County faced Rock Canyon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Huskies took a 32-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Huskies, who until this matchup were averaging 13.09 points allowed.

Jylian Cabral threw for 254 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Reilly Covert was her top target, picking up 78 receiving yards and one score.

Douglas County's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3. As for Rock Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Douglas County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 53-6 win against Highlands Ranch on the 3rd. Rock Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
